Somaliland and Ethiopia Ambasssadors to Kenya hold talks in Nairobi

Somaliland ambassador to Kenya Mohamed Ahmed Mohamud held a meeting with his Ethiopian counterpart Bacha Debele Buta in Nairobi to discuss historicl and bilateral relations between the two countries.

The two ambassadors met at the Ethiopian embassy in Nairobi where matters of regional importance and especially the Horn of Africa region was discussed.

Ethiopia and the Republic of Somaliland share a lot of common interests including regional peace and security.

The two countries recently signed an MOU that will see Ethiopia set up a naval base in Berbera, Somaliland’s port city.
