President Bihi sends message of condolence to Kenya following death of former President Mwai Kibaki

The Somaliland President Muse Bihi has sent his message of condolence to the people of Kenya following the passing on of former President Mwai Kibaki who died in Nairobi on Friday, April 22, 2022.

In his statement, President Bihi said he was deeply saddened by the death of the third president of Kenya and on his behalf and that of the people of Somaliland joins Kenyans in mourning Kibaki.

“Deeply saddened by the death of His Excellency former President of Kenya Mwai Kibaki. My deepest condolences go to the government and the people of Kenya and the family of the late President,” Bihi said in a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Somaliland Representative Office in Kenya too joined in condoling with the government, Kenyans and the family of the late former President Mwai Kibaki.

“The Somaliland mission in Kenya expresses its sincere condolences to the government and the people of Kenya on the loss of former President Mwai Kibaki. We honour his legacy and mourn with his family, friends and the people of Kenya,” stated the Somaliland mission in Kenya
