Dr. Mohamoud congratulates Sir Williamson for his appointment in British cabinet

Somaliland envoy to Kenya Dr Mohamed Mohamoud has congratulated Sir Gavin Williamson following his appointment as a state minister in the Cabinet office of the new government.

Sir Williamson was appointed by new British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak who assumed office on October 25.

In his congratulatory message, Dr Mohamoud said: Congratulations to Hon. Sir Gavin Williamson on his appointment as State Minister in the Cabinet Office.”

Williamson is known to be one of the leading figures amongst British politicians championing for the recognition of Somaliland as an independent state by the UK.
